Jabe Burgess was raised in small town Greenwood, AR. Early on Burgess was inspired by his Dad’s music. This consisted of 90’s country, Springsteen and the Eagles. These songs inspired him to teach himself how to play his dad’s guitar. Burgess started writing songs in college while attending Tulsa University on a football scholarship where he played Quarterback for the Golden Hurricane. After his football career ended Burgess formed a band consisting of home town friends and performed all across Arkansas and Oklahoma. In 2017, Burgess began traveling back and forth between Arkansas and Nashville and began co-writing with hit songwriter, Mark Alan Springer. In June of 2018, Burgess signed a publishing deal with Springer Ink. Springer Ink’s Mark Alan Springer regards Jabe as having “Great potential as a recording artist and songwriter.” Springer-himself an Arkansas native-has served as President of the Nashville Songwriters Association and has written or published 17 top ten country songs, seven of them climbing to #1. Now based in Nashville, Burgess is hard at work writing and performing across the country with his band. Burgess regards his music by saying, ” I want people to feel the honesty in the songs, the highs, the lows of life and  everywhere in between. That’s what it’s all about anyways.”
